Sidwalk Closed
I snapped this picture earlier this afternoon. I think the City Dpartment of Public Works is reacting to the ongoing budget crisis by cutting back on the number of E's used.

If you think about it, shouldn't it be "SIDWALK CLOSD"?
Budget concerns have not forced them to eliminate all of the E's yet.

We have Grammar-challenged banners , but I've yet to see a misspelled sign.

I have a photo of a school sign that says, Parent Comferences. I love looking for stupid sign mistakes.

we got to live in paris for 4 years...the strangest thing was a street with a big pothole and NO YELLOW TAPE....you could tell there was work going on and GUESS WHAT!? They trusted you not to FALL IN~!
They had such steep stairs to restaurant bathrooms that I told friends when I came back up to the table one night "If this were LA, there'd be a table with a lawyer at the bottom signing you up in case you tripped!"
This reminded me of that stuff....humor me :-)
