My Grandpa the Cyko Cop (Postcard Friendship Friday)

Postcard Friendship Friday always seems to start on Thursday, but I am not sure which time. So here is my early entry. It is a Ckyo brand "Real Photo" postcard. Cyko postcards were printed from 1904 into the 1920s. This photo is from around 1925. It shows my grandfather on a small-town police force. Until now, I did not know he was a policeman. But I did know he had a lot of different jobs.

That's really cool. I wish I had something like that for my grandfather.

Seems like every time I turn around, I find 50 or 60 more.

Glad to see that he is Cyko and not Psycho! What was your Grandfather's name? I wish I knew when PFF started too:)

My grandfather was a Border Patrolman and Customs officer at Sweetgrass, Montana in the early '50s, and I have a picture of him just like this one!

I'm very glad I wasn't the only person who though Psycho! It's so good that you have these cards and photos, as a record of your family. I am more and more aware of the importance.

How wonderful that you have this card and know more about your grandfather.

This is a wonderful thing to have of your granddad. It's funny that we all have relatives that had interesting lives and we usually know so little about them.
