Buffy Slays Edward

I've seen the "Buffy Spikes Edward" meme a couple of times before. First, as a scribbled sign, then as a mash-up photo (with Blade doing the duty instead of Buffy). Now, someone has done an actual video-clip of it. It's really pretty well put together. One thing that stands out is how blue the "Twilight" footage is compared to normal real-world colors (the colors used in the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" show)

Watching this is actually more than I've ever seen of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". When it was first aired, it was banned from our area due to a government regulation (called "must carry") which prevented the cable company from showing the Detroit station that had "Buffy". I heard the show was good, however. Maybe some time the seasons of it will be available dirt cheap. It's not on Ch131.com yet, though.

You're right, it is well done. I enjoyed it.

I've seen a few Buffy eps and zero Twilight, but I thought it was very well done.

Daughter #1 has not watched either show, but she is familiar with the concepts. She enjoyed watching Edward getting staked & loved the Harry Potter frame.

Daughter #2 is a Twilight fan and has never seen Buffy, but she enjoyed it too.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I've already posted this earlier, but it's always a good watch.

I've seen every ep of Buffy (and the original movie, too).

I know you can get season 1 on Hulu, and the earlier seasons are getting down to $20 at Wal-Mart.

But this vid very accurately shows how Buffy would deal with the whiny emo-vamp. Even if she falls for a vampire, it doesn't stop her from being able to put a stake, or *spoiler* a sword, through him.

It's worth watching through just for the banter, which is what made the show last 7 seasons.

Oh, and VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE!!!
