The Hurt Locker
Has anyone seen "The Hurt Locker" movie? It's in town for a few days and I was wondering if we should see it. I was talking to someone who served in Iraq last week, and he has seen it and strongly recommends it.

I haven't seen it, so I'm no help. I'd be interested to hear what you think if you decide to see it.
Since it won the Academy Award for best picture, it's probably good.
I often don't take that as an endorsement. I remember films like "Out of Africa" that weren't that good, that won the award.
I saw it and several other nominated films and Hurt Locker is by far the best film I have seen this movie season.
I have not seen it but I want to. I will watch it eventually. A few blogs of the war veterans had stated it was inaccurate and did not reflect truly what was happening on the ground.
