Cold April

It's been a lot warmer lately. A week or so in the 70s if I recall coreectly. Maybe time to think of gardening firing up the grill and getting lawn furniture out and all that. But no, it started snowing again last night.

Real estate is hard enough to sell, but even harder if your sign is half covered in snow. The Dairy Lodge was not open for several nice warm days. Now they just recently opened a couple of days ago, but who is going to go buy a cone when it is snowing?
The forlorn shore of Lake Michigan, with the far shore obscured by the increasing blizzard.

It was great weather last weekend and having bbq's and sitting in the warm sun was a nice change from wearing sweaters.. Now we have rain and cooler tempatures.. gotta bring out the winter coats once more!

We have Dairy Queen and they opened a couple of weeks ago.. but the local ice cream truck made no appearances over the long weekend..

Your post sounds a bit bleak... it's not so hot down here in Florida, although the temps are hotter, but the economic outlook isn't so hot.

It was 29 degrees here this morning, but it's supposed to get up into the 60's this afternoon. Iowa is confusing like that.

We hit high 80's a couple of days ago, but are expecting one last frost tonight.

Supposed to get up to 70 today (Saturday) in Kalamazoo. Northport reporting 30 this morning. Ups and downs, regional differences, but it's still spring, eh?

Snow, still? Wow, it is tough on the west side of the mitten! Our final confirmation for the end of snow is the blooming of our pine tree and we are still waiting so who knows!

Thanks for posting those scenes. I have always enjoyed seeing the places where people live, people relate to and more. It's a window.
