Got the toaster oven.

Got the toaster oven. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Found it at Wal-Mart, after looking all over the place. When looking around, I made the following observations:

1) The old "legacy" non-big-box appliance stores had no toaster ovens at all.

2) Almost all I found, even at appliance-heavy stores like ABC Warehouse, were very tiny, and could not hold a cake pan.

3) There's some expensive microwave ovens out there!

Our new oven is an "Oster Convection Toaster Oven". Keeping tnlib's comment about convection ovens in mind, convection cooking is an option in it, and you don't have to use it. I did try it with fish sticks. Yes, they seem more dried out. But they did cook in half the time.

I hope you enjoy the new oven!

According to answers.com, "While most Sunbeam-Oster products are made in the United States, the company has some manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Venezuela, and Peru."
