I've posted about bad eBay experiences before.
Well, this is about an inexplicably good experience. Read on...
Several weeks ago, I sold a barely-used collectible book to someone on eBay. In the expected amount of time, I got positive feedback from the buyer, that it was in great condition and a great value. That's all fine and good. End of story.
But no. Today, I get the book back in its box. Unopened, with a postal UNCLAIMED sticker on it.
What's up with that. I get my book back, and I have a happy customer who thinks the book is in great condition inside a box that he refused to take delivery of or open.

We'll be breathlessly awaiting the sequel on this one, dmarks.
Well, I will be happy to repeat the same process with him. I have now relisted the book, in case he wants to order it again, return it unopened, and post new glowing feedback of his enjoyment.
that is the craziest ebay story I have EVER heard!
He paid and loved the book but doesn't have it?!!
Let us know what happens next!!!
Aha - could this be money laundering taken to a new level?
And please, do let us know if he would like to pay anyone else to ship him objects.
Weird. It doesn't make any sense.
That's very odd. You did get paid, right?
He decided it was such a great item that he couldn't deprive you of it?
Hahah! I like both the story and the poster!
It's quite simple really. That person obviously felt obliged to leave positive feedback before he or she had even received the package.
Well he got it in a reasonable amount of time, so he must have assumed it was good and decided not to take it.
My son buys online and has done alright so far. But there was a story in the news about some fellow ripping off people, geez, I just can't remember what it was about. sorry.
Thats crazy! People are so funny!
Sounds like you made an
'obscene profit'..:)
