I tried to send this one as an entire blog post from my cell phone today, but the picture part did not work. So here it is the regular way. I wonder if Denny's also has a Grand Slam special?
Perhaps, but the ham might taste like shoe leather.
I like it. Reminds me of a radiator repair shop in Newago years ago (maybe still there, but I'm not sure) that advertised itself as "the best place to take a leak."
Must be an anachronism; back in the fifties I worked my way through college at a wholesale shoe and leather warehouse (dang, I still smell leather). We sold heels, soles and cowhides to shoe repair folks and there were hundreds of such little shops. Come to think of it, all the shoes we sold were American-made. Yep, an anachronism.
PJ: Reminds me of an antique bottle opener I inherited. It was from a radiator shop, and it was stamped in the silhouette of an ...excited...man. BB: This one opened in the 1970s, so it is relatively new.
Not really the same thing, but the company that collected our trash when I was very young had printed on their trucks: "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Double Your Trash Back."
