I return again to Macy's, which can be picturesque at times. It's at the "Far end of the mall", which seems to have a lot less activity, and the parking lot near Macy's is often near empty. Here on Sunday night, Macy's was all closed, so there was no one at all.
It was pretty close to sunset, and the sky was a gorgeous blue. The place looks more tomb-like than ever, like vast mausoleum or something. And you'd almost expect to see tumbleweeds blow by in the second photo.

There is something almost monolithic about the building. Really very lovely and haunting shots.
Kind of looks like Fort Knox, or perhaps Kadhafi's
cottage. For sure though,
Macy's architecture has changed through the years.
You have an eye for the eerie, dmarks. Cool.
BB: Actually, it was built almost 20 years ago as a Hudson's. I am thinking that the style was typical of the mall Hudsons's of the era. It was never changed. After it was a Hudsons,it was in some sort of intermediary stage... I think Dayton's? Then it became Macy's.
