I really am sick of it. These days there is not a single speech that does not put the other side down in some manor. I'm sure its always been rotten, but I've reached my exhaustion date.
I understand that the election of 1824 (John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson) was also quite a slimefest.......And let us not forget the 1884 election when the Blaine campaign leveled at Cleveland, "Ma, ma, where's my pa, he's gone to the White House, ha ha ha."
